Right now there are two ways to install the extension:
From the zip file. After downloading
Snapfont from
Gumroad, you'll get access to a zip file.
Read the instructions
here
to install from a zip file. We generally recommend this
method if you want the latest version of Snapfont.
From the Chrome webstore. Head over to the Chrome webstore and install from there. This is the quickest method of installing Snapfont, but this version of Snapfont may be old as Chrome webstore takes 2-3 weeks to put the extension on the store.
Restart your browser and try again. If it still doesn't work, shoot us a message here and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
These must be fonts locally installed on your device. At the moment we can't get in-depth font information for local fonts although we're trying to work around this limitation.
Yes we do support variable fonts. If you're on the Pro version, you can upload variable fonts.
Unfortunately, we don't support Google font's variable fonts yet. The Google fonts api we use doesn't provide metadata about the variable fonts hosted there so we are looking to host our own font server.
If you paid for Snapfont during the beta then yes, you'll automatically get the Pro version.
If for some reason you can't access the Pro version, get in touch and we'll sort it out.
